The partnership of Oscar Hammerstein and Richard Rodger’s is considered the greatest theater writing partnership of the 20th century. With the titles, “Oklahoma!” “Carousel,” “South Pacific, “ “the King and I,” and “sound of Music,” the two men ushered in the Golden Age of the musical. Rodgers composed over 900 songs and 43 musicals. He is the first person to win the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony). He is one of only two people to add a Pulitzer to that collection.
Rodgers is constructed and dressed in recycled wool. He is stuffed with recycled denim. He stands approximately 12” tall.
