Bisan Owda is a 27 year old journal, activist, and filmmaker. She is an EU Goodwill Ambassador where she has addressed the issue of climate change. She has also worked with the United Nations regarding gender equality. Most recently, she won the 2024 Peabody Award in the News category for her social media video series “It’s Bisan From Gaza and I’m Still Alive.”
